Volunteer
Are you a person who freely chooses to serve others in your community and believes that individual involvement truly makes a difference? At the Reynolds Cancer Support House, volunteers are welcomed as a significant part of the team, working with staff to provide quality support services and expand our outreach initiatives.
House Volunteers
Many volunteers faithfully give of their time, energy, and talents each week to greet, register, call, and encourage patients. Others clean, straighten, organize, file, and provide other services that keep the House running. If you would like to join this wonderful group, please call Wendy Lambkin at (479)782-6302 or (800)262-9917. She’ll find the perfect place for you!
Outreach Volunteers
As we strive to further fulfill the mission of the Reynolds Cancer Support House, Outreach Volunteers are needed to help:
- Inform and educate the community about the work of the Support House and the impact of cancer on our region.
- Reach minority populations and under-served sectors in the River Valley. Bi-lingual volunteers and health educators are in serious need for these efforts.
- Represent the Support House at various area functions and events which benefit the Cancer Support House.
If you would like help organize and assist with outreach efforts, please contact Martha Pendleton at (479)424-1812.
